Every driver provides the same four. After that you can switch vehicles without repeating any of it.
Before you can drive

- 04Background check consent
Proof of gig work is optional. Without it you can still rent — it changes the deposit, not the answer.
What a deposit costs
Two things set the deposit: whether your gig history is verified, and what the background check returns.

These are the tiers, not your quote. Your own deposit is set once your background check returns, and you see the same reasoning we do.
What the background check looks for
Minor findings — these adjust the deposit
- Moving violations
- A settled at-fault collision
- A dismissed charge
Disqualifying — these end the application
- Theft
- Violent crime
- A major driving offence
You must be at least 21 to rent. If a check disqualifies you, we send an adverse-action notice and you have 30 days to dispute what it found.
